Terms of Use

Last updated July 2, 2026.

These terms cover your use of the Worsted app and this website, provided by Handler Labs LLC. By using Worsted you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app; where it and these terms overlap, both are in effect.

Your license

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Worsted on Apple devices you own or control, for your own crafting. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer the app beyond what the law allows.

Your patterns and files

Worsted is a tool for your own projects and your own files. It works like a reader for pattern PDFs you already own. You are responsible for having the right to use any pattern you import. We do not host, sell, or distribute patterns, and we ship only original reference content such as the stitch glossary.

Subscriptions and billing

Premium is available as a subscription with a free trial, and as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Apple handles all billing through your App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your App Store settings. Prices are shown in your local currency before you buy. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Calculators are estimates

The gauge, resize, and yardage tools give guidance based on the numbers you enter. Real results vary with your yarn, tension, stitch, and finishing. Always swatch and check before you rely on a result for a whole project.

The app is provided as is

We work hard to make Worsted reliable, and reliability is the whole point of the app. Even so, it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Handler Labs LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will post changes here and update the date above. Continuing to use Worsted after a change means you accept the new terms.
